A Friendship Chain

Lesson Summary:

Students will make a friendship chain made up of names and attributes that describe that person. This chain is shared in class and can be used to decorate a Christmas tree.

 Students will be able to discuss the importance of groups in daily tasks, recognize their own need to be in  a group in daily activities, and learn to listens to others in a group

Lesson Title

 The Importance of Groups

Lesson Summary:

 Students will pretend to be on a ship, the teacher directs them to do various group activities like 3 men row a boat, or 4 students act like 1 octopus or a sea star. If there are not enough students to form a group, then they’re out.
